Please join us for our Understanding Fundamentals webinar on Competition. These webinars are targeted at senior legal, compliance and risk officers working within financial institutions here in the UK – with the aim of providing a sound fundamental understanding of a particular topical subject (and plug any knowledge gaps). The intention is that attendees will be equipped with a good working understanding of, and therefore be able to discuss substantively with colleagues, the designated topic of the day.

This webinar will focus on competition law and cover:

• Overview of the key provisions (and underpinning principles) of EU and UK competition law
• Information sharing – particular risk ‘hot-spot’ in financial services
• Recent cartel cases in financial services
• No-poach agreements and other issues in labour markets
• Collaborating with competitors (including the dangers of WhatsApp and similar platforms)
• Interplay between competition law and concurrent regulation
