- 12:30 PM EST
Heightened enforcement by global competition authorities is raising new complexities for a wide range of life sciences transactions. This webinar will cover the key changes that will be of most interest to in-house and corporate deal counsel, as well as specific steps that life sciences companies can consider taking now before the new Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) filing requirements go into effect in February 2025.
Our panel will offer strategic insights for life sciences companies contemplating acquisitions, strategic collaborations, and licensing agreements in this increasingly challenging environment.
Our discussion will include:
- practical considerations for how the new HSR requirements will impact life sciences deals;
- current merger enforcement trends in the U.S., E.U., and U.K., and the likely impact for life sciences companies on deal timing in light of the significantly more burdensome HSR filing requirements and the heavy scrutiny these transactions face throughout Europe;
- the expense of regulatory compliance globally, and how to address those realities in transaction documents; and
- best practices for coordinating cross-jurisdictional merger review processes.
