Covington Connected is our biennial DEI Summit that brings together lawyers and advisors from communities underrepresented in the legal profession. More than 350 colleagues from our 14 global offices attended the 2024 event in Washington, D.C. Attendees participated in activities centered around the primary theme of “Leading with Purpose," exploring ways in which we can connect ourselves, our work, and our teams to a deeper sense of meaning.

The Summit programming included sessions that featured industry experts, leadership feedback forums, and workshops designed to advance inclusion at the firm. In addition, our lawyers were able to foster connections with firm leaders while discussing challenges and issues of importance to community members.

Covington Connected is a critical component of our DEI Strategic Action Plan and reinforces our commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where all colleagues feel supported and can thrive.

We hosted a virtual DEI Summit in 2021 and our inaugural in-person DEI Summit in September 2022.
