Ross Evans and Anna Lubberger were mentioned in a Global Competition Review article that detailed their arrival as new members of Covington’s European Competition and Foreign Investment practice. Global Compliance co-chair Johan Ysewyn told GCR that “the firm was lucky to find the right people, at the right time.”
Johan had also said of Ross and Anna’s arrival that “the continuing expansion of our European competition and Foreign Investment capabilities is a direct response to the growing sophistication and scope of the regulatory regimes affecting the EU, UK and global markets. As businesses seek to understand their obligations and respond to the changes in regulations, they need legal advisers who are able to look around corners and anticipate questions arising from overlapping pieces of legislation and enforcement trends. In Anna and Ross, we have two excellent additions to our team that is known for its depth, breadth and collegiality.”
Ross, who joins the global Foreign Investment (FDI) team as special counsel based in London, has a practice that focuses on counseling clients on national security and public interest reviews in cross-border transactions.
Anna joins the firm’s EU Competition practice as of counsel based in Frankfurt, and her practice focuses on advising clients in a range of industries on all areas of European and German antitrust law.
