WASHINGTON, DC, September 25, 2014 — Covington & Burling has been named “International Firm of the Year for Trade” by China Law & Practice magazine.
The award recognizes Covington’s “innovation, complexity, and market impact” and is “based on the extent to which their work has influenced the legal market and benefited the quality and development of China’s legal landscape.”

In addition, China Business Law Journal honored Covington with two “Deal of the Year” awards for advising Wanxiang on its $256.6 million acquisition of A123 Systems and for advising Stryker on its $760 million acquisition of Trauson.
