David Goodwin Named to List of “Top 100 Lawyers” in California

SAN FRANCISCO, September 12, 2014 — For the second year in a row, Covington & Burling partner David Goodwin was named to the Daily Journal’s list of “Top 100 Lawyers” in California. The list honors “lawyers who have impact — on an industry or on the larger society,” according to the publication’s editors.

Mr. Goodwin was recognized for his work representing policyholders in insurance coverage litigation, including the upcoming Texas Supreme Court hearing on behalf of longtime client BP. Mr. Goodwin has more than 30 years of experience representing corporate policyholders in insurance coverage disputes and litigation.
