LONDON, July 6, 2015 — Euromoney Legal Media Group selected four Covington partners Louise Nash, Lucinda Osborne, Lisa Peets and Hilary Prescott for its annual European Women in Business Law Awards. The awards honor women who are leading the field in the legal sector across Europe.
Louise Nash won the award for Mergers & Acquisitions. Ms. Nash is a member of the corporate practice group and focuses on M&A and other transactional matters for clients in the consumer brands and technology sectors. Her practice is international, with virtually all transactions upon which she advises having a cross-border dimension. Ms. Nash is also a member of the firm’s Management Committee.
Lucinda Osborne was awarded Best in Life Sciences. Ms. Osborne is a member of the firm’s corporate and intellectual property practice groups and concentrates on transactional matters for pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
Lisa Peets has won the award in the Copyright category for five years in a row. Ms. Peets, whose practice encompasses legislative advocacy, trade and intellectual property enforcement, heads Covington’s European technology and media practice.
Hilary Prescott was named Best in Real Estate. Ms. Prescott’s practice has a particular focus on real estate transactions involving the acquisition, disposal, management, leasing and construction of office buildings, retail space, and manufacturing facilities.
