Ruixue Ran Also Named “IP Lawyer of the Year”
BEIJING—China Law & Practice has named Covington “Intellectual Property Firm of the Year” and Covington partner Ruixue Ran as “Intellectual Property Lawyer of the Year.”
The awards highlight innovation and excellence in the China legal market and honor top law firms, lawyers, and legal departments.
Ms. Ran is one of the few China-based lawyers who focus on cross-border intellectual property litigation and is often called upon to share her knowledge with Chinese companies and relevant government authorities. She has substantial experience representing Chinese companies in high-stakes Section 337 investigations before the U.S. International Trade Commission and has advised Chinese companies on U.S. litigation in state and federal courts. She also assists multinational clients with their intellectual property issues involving China.
China Law & Practice previously named Covington “Trade Firm of the Year” in 2014 and 2017. The firm was also recognized as “Healthcare & Life Sciences Firm of the Year” and “Regulatory & Compliance Firm of the Year” in 2015 and 2016, respectively.
