The Deal Names Catherine Dargan and Amy Wollensack Top Women in Dealmaking

WASHINGTON—The Deal named Catherine Dargan and Amy Wollensack among the “Top Women in Dealmaking” in its publication, The Dealmaker Quarterly. Comprising the top women in dealmaking as nominated by their peers, this year’s list identifies women who have displayed excellence in their respective legal fields including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, restructuring and activist investing.
Catherine Dargan leads the firm’s Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions Practices, and has advised numerous companies on their important strategic transactions for more than 20 years.
Amy Wollensack is co-chair of the firm’s Private Equity Practice and a member of the Corporate Practice. Ms. Wollensack has nearly 15 years of experience advising private equity funds and other companies in numerous high stakes transactions.
Both Ms. Dargan and Ms. Wollensack represent clients across a variety of industries in a broad range of complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, divestitures, joint ventures, going private transactions, PIPEs, equity investments, and strategic partnering arrangements.
