Carolyn Kubota and Robyn Polashuk Named LA Business Journal Women of Influence

LOS ANGELES—The Los Angeles Business Journal has named Carolyn Kubota and Robyn Polashuk to its 2021 Women of Influence: Attorneys list, a recognition honoring Los Angeles’ most influential women attorneys.

Ms. Kubota is a partner in Covington’s Los Angeles office and a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. She has handled more than 20 jury and bench trials in state and federal courts. The Los Angeles Business Journal highlights her role as national litigation counsel for the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee in hundreds of cases pending in five states, as well as counsel for Johnson & Johnson in consumer fraud litigation.

Ms. Polashuk is managing partner of Covington’s Los Angeles office and co-chairs the firm's Communications and Media Industry Group. She provides transactional and strategic advice to telecommunications, media, and technology companies around the world. The Los Angeles Business Journal highlights her role in some of the most precedential deals in the television industry, which have had a significant impact on how content providers make their programming available to viewers.
