Neema Sahni Named to Daily Journals Top Women Lawyers

LOS ANGELES—The Daily Journal has named Neema Sahni to its 2021 “Top Women Lawyers” list, a recognition of the top women lawyers in California.

Neema is co-chair of the firm’s Music Industry practice and vice-chair of the Sports Industry Group. Through her work at the firm, and her prior experience in-house, she has developed a sophisticated understanding of the legal issues facing clients in the sports, media, and entertainment industries. She maintains an extensive counseling and advisory practice, assisting sports teams and leagues, television networks, and film studios assess and mitigate their litigation risk in the context of high-stakes business transactions.

The feature highlights her role in advising sports teams and leagues on issues related to the pandemic, representing major record labels and music publishers in mass infringement lawsuits against two internet service providers, and a pro bono victory securing the release of two immigrants from a detention facility due to their heightened risk of coronavirus infection.
