WASHINGTON—Global Investigations Review has named Covington partner Lanny Breuer to its top 30 FCPA Practitioners, a list of leading lawyers and forensic advisers in the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) space.
Lanny is Covington’s Vice Chair and one of the leading trial and white collar defense attorneys in the United States. He specializes in helping clients navigate financial fraud, anti-corruption, money laundering, securities enforcement, congressional, environmental, and other criminal and civil investigations presenting complex regulatory, political, and reputational risks. From 2009 to 2013, Lanny served as Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division at the U.S. Department of Justice, where he was widely regarded as a thought leader in the area of criminal law enforcement. Lanny previously served as Special Counsel to President Clinton.
