Catherine Dargan Named a 2021 Dealmaker of the Year by The Deal

WASHINGTON—For the second year in a row, The Deal recognized Catherine Dargan “Healthcare Pharma & Biotech Dealmaker of the Year” at its annual “Deal Awards.” This year, Catherine was recognized for her work in middle market transactions.

Catherine leads the firm’s Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions practices, and has advised numerous companies on their important strategic transactions for more than 20 years.

She focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, including public and private, and partnering arrangements ranging from sales of emerging venture-backed companies to multi-billion dollar acquisitions. Catherine structures and negotiates both domestic and cross-border transactions, and regularly represents clients in numerous industries, including life sciences, technology, defense and government contracting, consumer products, gaming, media, education, and equipment and manufacturing, and assists clients with corporate governance, compliance, and other matters.

The “Deal Awards,” announced September 24, recognizes the leading lawyers, bankers, and advisors shaping the deal economy.
