LOS ANGELES—The Daily Journal has named Aaron Lewis and Doug Sprague to its 2021 Top White Collar Lawyers list, a recognition of the leading California lawyers who specialize in white collar law.
Aaron is a partner in Covington’s Los Angeles office and serves as Vice Chair of the firm’s White Collar Defense and Investigations Practice Group. He is frequently called upon by general counsels and boards of directors to conduct internal investigations and to defend their businesses and senior executives in enforcement matters. The feature highlights his role leading risk assessments, audits, and investigations related to institutional culture and social responsibility issues, particularly those involving racial equity, for a number of clients, including Airbnb, Starbucks, and the Seattle Children’s Hospital board of trustees.
Doug is a partner in Covington’s San Francisco office and serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Technology Industry Group. He is a former Chief of both the Economic Crimes & Securities Fraud section and the White Collar Crime section for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California.
