LOS ANGELES—The Los Angeles Times has named Wade Ackerman and Robyn Polashuk as “Visionaries” in its business of law feature recognizing standout law firm attorneys.
Wade is a partner in Covington’s Los Angeles office and advises clients on complex FDA issues that require coordinated legal, regulatory, and public policy strategies. Through his previous positions at the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee and FDA's Office of Chief Counsel, Wade provides unique insights to companies and trade associations regarding the evolving FDA regulatory landscape. He also serves as one of the leaders of Covington’s multidisciplinary Digital Health Initiative, which brings together the firm’s resources to address issues relating to the development and marketing of digital health technologies.
Robyn is a partner in Covington’s Los Angeles office and co-chair of the firm's Communications and Media Industry Group. She provides transactional and strategic advice on network and video programming distribution to leading studio, television and other media and technology companies around the world. Her work sits at the intersection of traditional and digital media, and focuses on the evolution of video distribution and consumption to new media and models.
