WASHINGTON—Covington advised Guidehouse, a portfolio company of Veritas Capital, in its recently announced agreement to acquire of Grant Thornton’s Public Sector Advisory practice. The transaction will deepen Guidehouse’s capabilities and experience in providing federal, state and local governments with solutions in areas that include finance, human-capital management, information technology, data analytics and performance management. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2022.
