WASHINGTON– Washington Business Journal has named Nooree Lee to its 40 Under 40 list, a recognition of top young executives in the Washington area.
Nooree represents government contractors in all aspects of the procurement process and focuses his practice on the regulatory aspects of M&A activity as well as foreign military sales and other international contracting matters. He has advised financial sponsors and strategic buyers on 30+ M&A deals involving government contractors totaling over $30 billion in combined value over the last five years. This includes Veritas Capital’s acquisition of Cubic Corp. for $2.8 billion; the acquisition of Perspecta Inc. by Veritas Capital portfolio company Peraton for $7.1 billion; and FlixMobility’s acquisition of Greyhound Lines, Inc.
On top of professional achievements, Washington Business Journal also evaluates nominees’ philanthropic work, other awards and milestones, and community contributions. Nooree maintains an active pro bono practice at the firm focusing on public housing and housing discrimination matters and appeals of denied industrial security clearance applications.
