Nooree Lee Named to Washington Business Journal's 40 Under 40

WASHINGTON– Washington Business Journal has named Nooree Lee to its 40 Under 40 list, a recognition of top young executives in the Washington area.

Nooree represents government contractors in all aspects of the procurement process and focuses his practice on the regulatory aspects of M&A activity as well as foreign military sales and other international contracting matters. He has advised financial sponsors and strategic buyers on 30+ M&A deals involving government contractors totaling over $30 billion in combined value over the last five years. This includes Veritas Capital’s acquisition of Cubic Corp. for $2.8 billion; the acquisition of Perspecta Inc. by Veritas Capital portfolio company Peraton for $7.1 billion; and FlixMobility’s acquisition of Greyhound Lines, Inc.

On top of professional achievements, Washington Business Journal also evaluates nominees’ philanthropic work, other awards and milestones, and community contributions. Nooree maintains an active pro bono practice at the firm focusing on public housing and housing discrimination matters and appeals of denied industrial security clearance applications. In addition to his pro bono work, Nooree takes an active role in the firm’s DEI initiatives, including serving as the firm’s Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow in 2023 and as a partner mentor in the Asian Pacific American Bar Association Education Fund’s law student mentorship program.
