LOS ANGELES—The Los Angeles Times and The Envelope magazine named Covington lawyers David Lefebvre, Robyn Polashuk, and Neema Sahni to its inaugural Entertainment Business Visionaries list, honoring the top professionals providing essential advisory services to key players in the entertainment industry.
David is based in Covington’s Los Angeles office and advises leading media and entertainment groups, broadcast stations, sports leagues, established and emerging technology companies, and other content owners in connection with content licensing, distribution and media rights agreements. David’s practice sits at the center of the changing landscape of video programming distribution, covering a wide variety of platforms (including OTT/streaming, broadcast, cable, and mobile) and business models (including linear, video-on-demand and direct-to-consumer).
Based in Covington’s Los Angeles office, Robyn serves as co-chair of the firm's Entertainment and Media Industry Group. She provides transactional and strategic advice on network and video programming distribution to leading studio, television and other media and technology companies around the world. Her practice focuses on the evolution of video consumption and is integral to how programming companies get their content to customers.
Neema is based in Covington’s Los Angeles office and serves as co-chair of the firm's Entertainment and Media Industry, Music Industry, and Commercial Litigation practice groups and vice-chair of the Sports Industry group. Drawing upon her experience at the firm and her prior experience in-house, Neema specializes in handling complex commercial disputes and providing practical solutions that help clients understand and mitigate their legal risks and advance their business objectives.
