Six Covington Lawyers Named Law360 Rising Stars

Ross Demain advises clients in complex antitrust matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other transactions, as well as government investigations and litigation. He has significant experience helping clients achieve positive outcomes across a variety of industries and sectors, including technology, media, electronics, cable, broadcast, industrial products, energy and natural resources, defense, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, sports, and financial services.

Insurance
Alexis Dyschkant represents policyholders in complex insurance coverage disputes and civil litigation in federal and state courts involving a wide variety of underlying claims and losses, often in connection with emerging and developing coverage issues including PFAS claims, sex abuse claims, and cyber events.
Mergers & Acquisitions
Drew Fischer focuses on a broad range of M&A transactions, including public and private mergers, asset and stock acquisitions and divestures, carve-out acquisitions and divestitures and cross-border M&A transactions. He has experience in a wide range of industries, including in the life sciences, health care, defense and government contracting, industrial and manufacturing, and technology industries.

International Arbitration
Nikhil Gore advises clients in arbitrations, cross-border disputes, and domestic and international investigations and government-facing matters. In his arbitration practice, he is a member of the Covington team representing Ukraine in state-to-state disputes against the Russian Federation and has experience under the DIFC-LCIA, ICC, ICSID, SIAC, UNCITRAL and UNCLOS Annex VII rules, as well as before the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea.
Product Liability
Greg Halperin is a trial lawyer with experience spanning more than 170 trial days. He has particular expertise representing clients in the life sciences industry in complex product liability and mass tort litigation. He has experience crafting opening statements and closing arguments, and examining key fact and expert witnesses at trial.
Banking
Charlotte May advises clients on a broad range of corporate and securities matters, including capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate governance, securities disclosure, and compliance issues. She represents a wide range of corporate clients with particular experience in the financial services industry. She also serves as co-chair of the firm's Fintech Initiative.
