WASHINGTON— Todd Itami, a leading AI, technology and e-discovery advisor, has joined Covington as the Director of Artificial Intelligence and E-Discovery Solutions. He also will be of counsel in Covington’s Washington office and a member of the firm’s E-Discovery, AI, and Information Governance Practice.
Leveraging his background in computer science, Todd is well known for his extensive experience advising leading global companies on the application of AI to legal and business issues, e-discovery, information governance, and strategic software development. Todd focuses his practice on the overlap of technology and the law, understanding these complicated issues at the most detailed and nuanced level. As the Director of Artificial Intelligence and E-Discovery Solutions, Todd will augment Covington’s E-Discovery practice by integrating sophisticated AI and other technology tools into everyday practice to provide cutting edge service to the firm’s clients.
Covington’s highly ranked practice is co-chaired by Ed Rippey and Leeanne Mancari. Todd earned his J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School and his B.A. from Idaho State University.
