Financial Times Shortlists Alex Berengaut as Innovative Practitioner

WASHINGTON—The Financial Times has shortlisted Alex Berengaut as one of 10 finalists for its Innovative Practitioner award. The award recognizes lawyers who are notable for leadership in their field and for having an impact on the future practice of law.

A partner in Covington’s Washington office, Alex is a nationally recognized litigator and co-chair of Covington’s Government Litigation practice. He has served as lead counsel in a range of commercial disputes and government enforcement proceedings, and currently represents several leading technology companies in litigation and compliance matters relating to data privacy, platform liability, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
