GIR Names Steve Fagell “Investigations Professional of the Year” Finalist

Washington—Steve Fagell, partner in Covington’s Washington office and co-chair of the firm’s White Collar Defense and Investigations Practice Group, has been shortlisted in the “Investigations Professional of the Year” category at the Global Investigations Review (GIR) Awards 2024. The GIR Awards “celebrate the people and firms behind the past year’s most dazzling investigations and court cases.”

Steve co-chairs the firm’s leading white collar defense and investigations practice, which boasts more than 30 former government officials and more U.S. Chambers-ranked white collar lawyers than any other firm in the country. He is widely recognized as one of the nation's leading white collar practitioners and is a former senior official in the Criminal Division at the U.S. Department of Justice. Steve represents multinational companies and senior executives in criminal and civil investigations by the Justice Department, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and other U.S. regulators.

Winners will be announced at an awards event in Washington, DC, on November 14, 2024.
