LONDON—Covington has ranked first on Law.com International’s UK A-List 2024. The ranking recognizes firms based on a combination of factors, both financial and cultural: revenue per lawyer, pro bono commitment, associate satisfaction, racial diversity, and gender diversity (the percentage of equity partners who are women).
Covington performed well across all metrics, including the highest score in associate satisfaction. The firm has appeared in all three editions of the UK A-List since its introduction in 2022.
James Halstead, Managing Partner of the firm’s London office, commented, “We have built a range of capabilities that few firms can match. Clients are increasingly looking for what Covington can offer — broad and deep substantive and regulatory expertise combined with high-end litigation, corporate, and investigations and white-collar practices across multiple continents. Beyond our differentiated practice mix and substantive strengths, our clients recognize the benefits of our collaborative approach and our focus on diversity, as well as our longstanding dedication to pro bono work. We are proud that Law.com International recognizes our efforts in these important areas, and the result is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our London lawyers and staff.”
Founded in 1988, Covington’s London office at 22 Bishopsgate is home to over 130 fee-earners.
