Diane Ramirez, Ricardo Chirinos, and Roy Goldsman Named as Latinvex “Rising Stars”

LOS ANGELES/WASHINGTON/NEW YORK—Latinvex has named Diane Ramirez, Ricardo Chirinos, and Roy Goldsman as 2025 Rising Legal Stars in Latin America. The list features only 25 practitioners at international law firms doing business in Latin America. The criteria for selection “was scope and prominence of work and future potential.” Covington was one of the two firms that had the most associates appearing on the list.
Diane represents clients in a wide range of internal and government investigations by the Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission, including investigations of bribery, books and records violations, internal controls violations, and other topics relevant to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Ricardo specializes in international commercial and investment arbitration, as well as public international law, and has extensive experience representing clients in high-stakes disputes relating to investments across different industry sectors, including oil and gas, mining and metals, electricity, agriculture, food retail and distribution, forestry, and paper and packaging.
As a member of the firm’s international disputes practice group, Roy advises clients in resolving their cross-border disputes, including through international commercial and investor-state arbitration proceedings.
