    Paul Enríquez represents biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and life-science clients in litigation before the federal courts and provides advice on FDA and other regulatory matters. His experience spans a range of technologies, with a special focus on the chemical and life sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Structural and Molecular Biochemistry and undergraduate degrees in Genetics and Biochemistry. Paul is the author of Rewriting Nature (Cambridge University Press 2021), a book exploring the intersection of law, science, and policy related to CRISPR and other genome-editing technologies. His work has been featured in over a dozen scientific and legal publications, including Cell, Nature, the Journal of Biological Chemistry, the Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine, Biochemistry, the North Carolina Law Review, the Boston University Law Review, the Vanderbilt Journal of Law and Technology, among others. Before joining the firm he clerked for the Honorable Jimmy V. Reyna of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
