    Kishan Parshotam is a commercial litigation and arbitration solicitor advocate based in London. Kishan’s practice has a particular emphasis on complex contractual claims, shareholder disputes, warranty and insurance claims and arbitrations.

    Kishan also has extensive experience in property litigation and is a member of the Property Litigation Association.

    • Acting for leading biopharmaceutical company in damages proceedings against several claimants.
    • Representing a Swiss pharmaceuticals company in US$ 500 million Swiss and Belgian seated ICC administered arbitration proceedings against its licensee (and related litigation before the courts of Texas).
    • Advising the UK government on post-Brexit free trade agreements.
    • Acting for a global investment firm in securing the successful conviction of a former director of an investment for contempt of court.

    • Acted for clients in contractual disputes arising out of issues connected with Brexit, including having successfully acted for Canary Wharf Group in its dispute with the European Medicines Agency ((Canary Wharf BP4) T1 Ltd v European Medicines Agency).
    • Acted for owners of property portfolios in both the UK and in Europe in relation to asset management disputes and terminations, including both Court proceedings and expert determinations.
    • Acted for clients against negligent solicitors and surveyors on various property transactions.
    • Acted for a major financial institution in High Court proceedings to enforce obligations under provisions of a share purchase agreement.
    • Acted for a major Fintech company in relation to a regulatory investigation.
    • Acted for a client on a defamation claim in relation to misleading publications by a competitor.
