Ed is co-chair of the E-Discovery, Artificial Intelligence, and Information Governance practice. He has represented enormous multinational corporations in this arena for over two decades. His work encompasses high-stakes and highly-publicized litigations and investigations as well as strategic "peacetime" advisory and policy work to best situate companies in the legal and business arenas. Ed is co-chair of the Gaming Industry practice, and he has represented integrated resorts and casinos, game manufacturers, and on-line entities worldwide for nearly two decades. In this practice, Ed leads not only complex litigations but also legislative work, government affairs, public relations, regulatory issues, federal and state agency communications, and numerous other legal and strategic efforts. The Gaming Industry practice collaborates closely with important industry organizations – including the American Gaming Association, Global Gaming Women, the Sports Betting Alliance, and the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers. In addition, Ed has been a key member of the Japan Practice for at least a decade and handles a wide range of cross-border litigation, investigation, and advisory matters – with a particular focus on Japan and Asia more broadly.
