    Anne Scott manages a team of attorneys and staff in the U.S. and U.K. who clear each lawyer’s work of any conflicts of interest or anti-money-laundering concerns accurately and expeditiously.

    Anne’s group works across the Firm’s offices worldwide, assisting the Firm’s lawyers with AML client due diligence, conflicts waivers and engagement letters, and shepherding prospective lateral attorneys through the conflicts vetting process.

    Anne is a member of the Firm’s Professional Responsibility Committee.

    Anne lives in Maryland with her husband and children.

    • Among other roles, Anne serves as a Board Member and Chair of the Nominating Committee for the Girl Scouts Council of the Nation’s Capital. She supports Girl Scouts wholeheartedly as a powerful leadership organization for girls and women.
    • Anne served as an appointed member and subcommittee chair of the D.C. Bar Rules of Professional Conduct Review Committee (November 2012 to February 2017).
    • Anne is also a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers and the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy.
    Previous Experience
    • Anne has spent eighteen years in conflicts, professional conduct, risk management and AML positions at Am Law 100 law firms.
    • Before that, she practiced for over nine years as an associate in multidistrict litigation and corporate transactions.
