Johan also highlighted that “regulation remains a key barrier for companies based in the Nordics, like Sweden and Denmark, that want to grow their businesses abroad. For example, a life sciences company in Sweden that seeks to break into the U.S. will need to go through a number of processes involving the regulator there, the Food and Drug Administration, in order to obtain authorization to market its products.” He continued, “Either way, such a company is entering into unknown territory and will need legal expertise to help guide it on the course it chooses, and that is where Covington comes in.”
