NEW YORK— The Hollywood Reporter has named Adrian Perry to its New York Power Lawyers list, a recognition spotlighting New York’s top 25 entertainment lawyers.
Adrian is an entertainment tech transactions partner in Covington’s New York office and serves as co-chair of the firm’s Entertainment and Media industry group, as well as its Music Industry practice group. He is also part of the firm's Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things initiatives, advising on deals involving AI-powered and internet-connected products. He is helping to shape the future of how content is created and consumed, and is an authority on digital content distribution issues, and on data collection and licensing, with a focus on the music, sports, TV, and film industries. The Hollywood Reporter noted his role advising “Universal Music Group’s creation and promotion of a metaverse band, various NFTs for UMG and a major ecommerce shopping integration launched inside a video game platform.”
